ACA CHARTER OVERVIEW
The ACA requires the successful completion of four components:
- 15 exam modules
- 450 days of work experience
- Professional development
- Advancement in ethical understanding and professional scepticism
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
By ACA Training Agreement: The ICAEW requires that candidates complete three continuous years of practical work experience (450 days). This is acquired through an ACA training agreement with training employers authorised by ICAEW.
Independent Students: If you do not hold a position with an authorised Training employer you are still entitled to register for all exams administered by the Institute. But to be recognized as an ICAEW member you must obtain 450 days experience with an employer approved by ICAEW.
