This module consists of three parts. The first part introduces fundamental concepts and various investment opportunities. The second part begins with a comparative study of traditional Efficient Market Theory and the behavioral aspects of finance. The third part focuses on a comparative analysis of traditional Efficient Market Theory and the ethical aspects of finance.

This module explores the role of financial control in achieving overall corporate objectives within the governance framework. The first part introduces the fundamental concepts of financial control and their application across different stages of the corporate life cycle. The second part provides an overview of corporate governance and the interactions between shareholders and other stakeholders. Students develop an understanding of the principles and current practices of corporate governance, as well as its connection to corporate social responsibility and accountability.
This module provides an introduction to financial accounting in a business context. It combines practical know-how with a deeper theoretical foundation. The module explains the principles for preparing key financial statements and enables students to produce financial statements from transaction records using double-entry accounting principles.
This course introduces students to the analysis of the provisions of the Greek Accounting and VAT laws, in line with the current system, and the practical handling of various issues faced by businesses. It also covers the analysis of income sources for individuals and legal entities, income tax, the tax system and policy, and approaches to tax law compliance. Students study the provisions of the Greek VAT legislation as well as the framework of the Greek General Accounting Plan.
Strategic Management deals with the central questions of competition. Addressing these questions involves examining the complex sets of resources and relationships that exist within the firm and its environment.
This course aims to introduce students to topics that provide knowledge of human behavior in the workplace, through the design of research projects, data collection and analysis, and presentation of results. The course focuses on the skills and knowledge considered essential for the successful completion of a research project.
The dissertation provides students with the opportunity to specialize in a specific area of interest by undertaking an independent and in-depth research project, guided by faculty members actively engaged in research. Students evaluate and synthesize research philosophies, using secondary and/or primary sources, and analyze their findings in relation to existing theories. The dissertation is of interest to potential future employers, as it demonstrates critical thinking, research skills, and business knowledge. It can also encourage students to pursue further research, either in a consultancy context or in ongoing academic research at the PhD level.
