DipIFR QUALIFICATION OVERVIEW
The exam is held twice a year - in June and December at ACCA's exam centres.
The DipIFR is designed to be achievable with 3-6 months of exam preparation.
Pass mark: 50%
The key topic areas of the syllabus are as follows:
- International sources of authority
- Elements of financial statements
- Presentation of accounts and additional disclosures
- Preparation of external reports for combined entities, associates, and joint arrangements
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
a) work as a qualified professional accountant or auditor in practice or business
b) provide verification for one of the following:
- Two years' relevant accounting experience and a relevant degree (attracting at least ACCA qualification exemptions for the Applied Knowledge and Corporate and Business Law (LW) exams)
- Two years ‘relevant accounting experience and an ACCA Certificate in International Financial Reporting
- Three years' relevant accounting experience
- ACCA affiliate status

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Altium Training is an ACCA Approved Learning Provider.
Altium Training provides annual preparation programmes for both the June And December exams as follows:
- February-May for the June exam
- December-May for the June exam
- May–November for the December exam
- September-November for the December exam
The programme is designed to meet the DipIFR objectives:
- understand and explain the structure of the framework of international accounting
- apply relevant financial reporting standards to key elements of financial reports
- identify and apply disclosure requirements for companies in financial reports and notes
- prepare group financial statements (excluding group cash-flow statements) including subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures
TUITION HOURS, CLASS FORMAT AND MATERIALS
- Tuition Hours: Each programme includes 88 hours of tuition and exam preparation. All classroom meetings are scheduled for weekend or evening hours.
- Class Format: The programme may be attended in person in class, live online, recorded online or blended (a combination). Please note that in class attendance is subject to government and building COVID-19 regulations.
- Course materials include Altium exclusive study notes and handouts, textbook and practice/ revision materials from BPP-an ACCA Approved Content Provider, past exams, and a mock exam.
