Business Administration is one of the most flexible and widely applicable fields of study. This programme provides students with a broad understanding of how companies and organisations are structured, managed and developed.

Students examine the principles of management, the role of accounting and finance, the importance of marketing and communication, and the ways in which people, operations and strategy contribute to business performance. Management Accounting introduces students to the role of accounting information in planning, control and managerial decision-making. Students examine cost behaviour, budgeting, performance measurement and short- and long-term decision-making techniques. The module helps students understand how management accounting supports resource allocation, operational efficiency and strategic business decisions in competitive and changing environments.

Business Statistics develops students’ ability to collect, analyse, interpret and present quantitative data for business decision-making. Students are introduced to descriptive statistics, probability, data presentation and basic statistical inference. The module helps students transform data into useful information and supports the development of analytical skills required for research, management and evidence-based business practice.

Operations Management introduces students to the design, management and improvement of organisational processes. Students explore capacity, quality, customer service, supply chains, inventory, location, layout and process efficiency. The module highlights the strategic importance of operations in both service and business environments, helping students understand how effective operations support productivity, customer satisfaction and organisational performance.

Introduction to Marketing presents the core principles of marketing and its role within modern organisations. Students examine the marketing environment, consumer behaviour, market research, segmentation, targeting and positioning. The module helps students understand how organisations identify customer needs, create value and develop marketing strategies that support competitiveness, customer engagement and long-term business success.

Business Finance introduces students to key financial concepts used in corporate and personal finance. Students examine financial markets, risk and return, investment principles, sources of finance and the time value of money. The module provides a foundation for understanding how organisations are financially structured and how financial planning supports profitability, sustainability and business growth.

Business Environment explores the external factors that influence organisations and international business activity. Students examine economic, political, legal, social and global forces, as well as international trade, market conditions and the role of multinational enterprises. The module helps students understand how organisations adapt to complex environments and make informed decisions in competitive and global markets.

Human Resources Management introduces students to the strategic and operational role of managing people in organisations. Students explore recruitment, selection, training, development, motivation, reward and employee relations. The module highlights the importance of aligning HR practices with organisational strategy and helps students understand how effective people management contributes to performance, engagement and long-term success.

Marketing Practice develops students’ understanding of the marketing mix and its application in real business contexts. Students examine product and service decisions, pricing, distribution, branding and integrated marketing communications. The module helps students understand marketing as a cross-functional activity and supports the development of practical skills for planning and implementing effective marketing actions.

 

Total Quality Management examines how organisations improve quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction through continuous improvement. Students explore quality management principles, tools and techniques used across business functions such as operations, marketing, procurement and customer service. The module helps students understand how quality-focused practices contribute to stronger processes, better products and services, and long-term organisational performance.

 

Business Organisation introduces students to the structure, design and operation of organisations. Students examine formal and informal organisational systems, authority, responsibility, coordination and different patterns of organisational structure. The module helps students understand how businesses organise resources, roles and processes in order to operate effectively, adapt to change and achieve strategic objectives.

Financial Resources Management develops students’ understanding of key financial decisions within modern organisations. Students examine risk and expected return, investment appraisal, capital budgeting, cost of capital, capital structure and dividend policy. The module introduces theoretical frameworks and practical tools, including the CAPM model, helping students evaluate investment opportunities and understand how financial decisions affect business value and long-term performance.

 
 

 

Business Communications develops students’ understanding of effective communication within organisational settings. Students examine interpersonal, group and organisational communication, audience needs, communication technologies and computer-mediated communication. The module supports the development of professional communication skills and helps students communicate clearly, appropriately and effectively across different business contexts, industries and stakeholder groups.

 

Small Business Management focuses on the challenges and opportunities involved in managing small and medium-sized enterprises. Students examine entrepreneurship, innovation, strategic change, organisational development and the practical realities of business growth. The module helps students understand how smaller businesses operate, compete and adapt in changing markets, while developing practical insight into decision-making and business sustainability.

Management Research develops students’ ability to conduct structured research in business and management. Students examine the main stages of the research process, including problem definition, research design, data collection, sampling, analysis and report writing. The module introduces both qualitative and quantitative research methods and helps students understand how reliable information is gathered, processed and presented to support evidence-based business decision-making.

 
 

Financial Statement Analysis introduces students to the interpretation and evaluation of corporate financial information. Students examine financial statements, analytical techniques, performance indicators, forecasting and comparisons with competitors. The module helps students understand how financial analysis supports investment decisions, business evaluation and managerial judgement by assessing an organisation’s financial position, performance and future prospects.

 
 

Organisational Behaviour examines the human side of organisations and how people interact within the workplace. Students explore management functions, communication, workplace relationships, power and politics, conflict and negotiation, organisational culture, change, knowledge management and stress management. The module helps students understand employee behaviour and develop practical people skills that support effective management, collaboration and organisational performance.

 
 

Global Business introduces students to the strategies and practices of international business in the context of global markets and competition. Students examine international environments, cultural differences, market selection, entry modes and the management of cross-border operations. The module equips students with tools for analysing global business challenges and developing appropriate international strategies.

Strategic Management focuses on how organisations develop and sustain competitive advantage. Students examine business models, industry positioning, internal capabilities, external forces and strategic decision-making. Through case studies, they learn how to analyse complex business situations, evaluate strategic options and understand the factors that shape organisational direction and long-term performance.

Tour Operators Management examines the role of tour operators within the wider tourism value chain. Students explore the structure, operations, marketing and management of tour operating businesses, as well as their relationships with other tourism enterprises. The module helps students understand the complexity of designing, organising and delivering tourism products in competitive markets.

The Final Project enables students to investigate a focused business or tourism-related issue through independent research. Students conduct a literature review, develop a research framework, collect and analyse data, and present conclusions and recommendations. The project develops research, analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrates the student’s ability to apply academic knowledge to a real business context.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation explores how new ideas are developed, evaluated and implemented in different organisational contexts. Students examine creativity, entrepreneurial behaviour, innovation management and value creation. The module highlights that innovation is relevant not only to start-ups, but also to public, private and non-profit organisations seeking to adapt, improve and grow.

 

Money and Banking introduces students to the role of money, financial institutions and monetary policy in modern economies. Students examine financial markets, banks, central banking, interest rates, money supply, regulation and financial crises. The module helps students understand how banking systems operate and how monetary decisions influence businesses, consumers and wider economic activity.

 

Leadership and Personal Development explores the key theories, models and practices of effective leadership. Students examine leadership styles, personal development, teamwork, time management, communication and the management of difficult workplace situations. Through case studies and team-based activities, they develop practical skills that support confidence, collaboration and responsible leadership in professional environments.

The Final Project continues across the final year and allows students to complete an independent research assignment on a business or tourism-related topic. Students analyse evidence, apply appropriate research methods and produce a structured final report. The project strengthens academic, analytical and professional skills while demonstrating readiness for employment or further study.

Entry Requirements

Secondary Education Diplomas and minimum age

Candidates for Undergraduate studies should be holders of:

  • A High School Leaving Certificate or
  • The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with a total 112-120 points to include a minimum of 2 Higher level IB Certificates at grade 4 or above.
  • Minimum age is 18 years completed

Certified Knowledge of English

Candidates for Undergraduate studies must demonstrate that they are competent in the use of the English language, certified by:

  • IELTS (Academic): 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in writing or
  • TOEFL Internet Based (iBT): 78 overall or
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic): 54 or
  • Cambridge Advanced English Certificate: 162 grade or
  • Any other recognized certificate providing advanced knowledge of English (Level B2/“proficiency")

A valid passport is also required.

All non-EU students should apply for a student visa at the Greek consulate of their own country, or one in a neighbouring country.

A valid student entry visa is necessary in order to apply later, after the arrival in Greece, for a student residence permit since, according to the Greek Immigration Law, all international students wishing to live temporarily in Greece must apply for a student residence permit at the relevant Immigration office in Thessaloniki or Athens.

In general, the documents that will be required from you by the Greek Embassy or Consulate in your country, to apply for a student visa are the following:

  1. A valid passport or other travel identification documents
  2. A letter of acceptance issued by the College
  3. Proof of financial support
  4. An official “health certificate”, from a health institution in the applicant’s country, declaring that the student does not carry any transmitted (contagious) diseases (translated into Greek and legalized)
  5. An official certificate that the applicant has no criminal record (Translated into Greek and notarized)
  6. 2-4 passport size pictures
  7. Evidence in writing of efficient knowledge of the English Language
  8. A completed application form, given by the Consulate
